What will a Prince2 qualification give me?
There’s more than one training course in Prince2 that you can complete, with different levels of Prince2 business cases that you can do. Each requires you to complete a Prince2 exam at every level in order to be considered successful.
The first is the Prince2 foundation course. This course ensures that you can be an active member of a project management team using Prince2 processes. The foundation exam goes for an hour and you need 55% to pass.
The second is the Prince2 Practitioner course, This ensures that you could run a basic Prince2 project environment and understand that project environment and how to apply Prince2 principles. The Prince2 Practitioner exam is longer, and allows you to use the Prince2 manual during the 150 minutes, and gives you the Prince2 practitioner certification.
Finally is Prince2 Agile. Completing this level of Prince2 training means not only that you’ve already completed the foundation & practitioner Prince2 courses and Prince2 exams, but that you’re now ready to work at the highest level of a Prince 2 project, such as on a project board, coming up with and implementing a project plan, including designing a stage boundary, controlling a stage and able to complete risk management according to PRince2 methodology.
Why should I study a Prince2 foundation and practitioner or agile course?
PRince2 regularly updates their processes and learning’s, with Prince2 2017 foundation courses and other courses have been updated recently.
